People Like You is almost impossible to find nowadays. There is a single copy at Discogs for £29.99 +£7.00 shipping (about $50.67 US Dollars total).
Well I wasn't suggesting anybody track it down instead of this new release. Just sharing information that PLY was also the Shoreline show.

Recorded live at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan - September 20, 2017. Professional soundboard recording. Tracklisting:
image Paper Gods Wild Boys I Don't Want Your Love A View To A Kill Come Undone Last Night In The City Only In Dreams Love Voodoo Notorious Pressure Off Hold Back The Rain Face For Today Ordinary World (Reach Up For The) Sunrise / New Moon On Monday Hungry Like The Wolf White Lines (Don't Do It) Girls On Film The Universe Alone / Save A Prayer Rio
Price for this set - pretty high. I'm pretty much done and over with anything related to PG - it was the tour that never ended and and album that didn't yield any 7" / CD single / 12" single.

I understand that everybody has an opinion about whether the band should embrace physical releases or that it may be non essential. However, from my perspective at least, art, branding and music go hand in hand as far as DD are concerned. Whenever there was a release by the band, I loved the thrill of walking out of a record store with a bag of varying formats of a single or album. I get it’s old school now - but we only have to dip our toes inside Facebook groups of other artists from the same era as DD to find that their fans are enjoying a selection of beautiful pressings of vinyl and CD sets. With the current fiasco I cannot envisage any change of stance from the DD camp with the forthcoming album. Why would there be any change?

The fanclub also has the Nick Rhodes solo CD for those who are interested.
The vinyl above is nice but way too expensive and the NR stuff is not my cup of tea.

Releasing your new album in every obsolete format known to man, plus multiple color variants has simply become the thing to do amongst music artists. Hell, St. Vincent released colorway 8-tracks of her latest!
It simply gets more sales (double-dipping fans) and higher chart marks. I don't think it necessarily means the band has listened to anyone other than a marketing team who has been paying attention.
