Here's me in shades, a tribute to Andeh. I wish they had more stuff to choose from like the South Park one...

I think there is a save icon(looks like a disc) on the bottom panel of where you created the avitar. Click it and then they give 2 options-one for a jpg file and one for msn. Then you click the actual words(ie. click your arrow on the word "jpg. file") and it just saves it. Oh, we all look cool ;D I've done the save and download, but I can't find the jpg file anywhere on my computer. On my mac, what happened when I hit the jpg option, my photo downloaded and the download window opened up on top of the simpsons website screen. The file itself was on my desktop. Maybe try searching the file name? I think the extention is "avatar.jpg" what operating system do you have? Maybe the website has a requirement? Its usually harder for me to explain computers, so I preapologise if you've gone through most of this edit: did you click the down arrow icon and not the disc icon? I decided to re-work my simpson- I think I look mostly like this- and i think my boyfriend will be amused I think he looks like this:

I agree that it would be more fun if it were more like the South Park one. It needs more features and accesories. And at least I could figure out how to save and post that pic...

My students love that one. I have a copy on my desk at school.

Look, you don't have to register, all you gotta do is finish the avvy, make sure it's on the thing where you can still see the whole body, hit print screen off to the semi top right of your keyboard, open up Windows paint, then go to the edit thingie up at the top. When you click on it, you will go down to the one that says paste ctrl+v. When you click on that, the printed screen will show up on your paintable window. I cropped mine as I pleased, and it's not hard to make the blue around you, or the shadow disappear. So you can make your own backgrounds, or patterns on your threads... Like so... Hope that helps. The first time someone explained how to do that with the South Park avvy maker, I coulda slapped myself for being an R-tard.
