Thanks! Can you tell us specifically what did you do to each of the tracks? I haven't had a chance to listen yet but I look forward to it! Certainly. I'm glad you've asked because although my method of what I call remastering or what is essentially sound shaping. The 2 programs i use are Nero Wave Editor & AVS Audio Editor What I do with this was to firstly is convert my audio files into 32 bit @ 96khz audio (some people question whether this makes any difference...I think it makes a BIG difference). Then i open the files in Wave Editor & add a band extraplotion filter, something I do with every track,it seems to pick up the frequency range & add clarity. Then (as in the case of this album) if it's quite a loud recording I use the eq to shape the sound to sound nice, once saved it will have reduced the sound levels,so the volume is increased & a 2nd round of eq is used but the octave range on each frequency is usually set to between 0.3 & 0.5 for the sake of fine tuning. Then if I'm still not happy i will run any tracks that need super fine tuning, through AVS Audio Editor, here tracks can be adjusted volume & eq wise in 0.1 db increments. Then after all this I edit the beginning & end of each track. This what I had to do with the whole album,1 track at a time. Personally,I think it's worth all the time & effort when the results are good but it's made even better now by being able to share these with other Duranoraks! Hope I didn't ramble too much & that I've answered you're question

hi Stu, I've downloaded the AYNIN sound twist - I'd appreciated your Notorious and Big Thing remasters very, very much - but I don't like this one, judging just from AYNIN the title track for the moment. I've played it compared to the original cd 320 kbps title track, and your version just sounds lo-&-hi beefed-up but mids squashed to my ears, like Simon and Roger are playing in a tunnel somewhere; when I then switch to the original cd-sourced 320 kbps, the vocal and snare just jump out alive with presence. I'll check out the whole album and then get back to you. thanks for the job done at any rate (no pun intended)!
