Have you ever said something and it totally comes out wrong but you really didn't think it sounded wrong until you thought about what you said later and then it may be to late? Yeah. That happened to me at my new job the other day and now I don't know (if it comes up) what I'm gonna say. We got these jean dress things in and they are by all means hideous! (they look like something you'd see on a In Living Color skit) Kinda Ghetto meets Jerry Springer.....well I say "Those are awful! Kinda like big back bootie girl dresses and this is a Soccer mom town."  Both of the girls I work with gave me an odd look and one said "I don't see it that way." Kind of in disgust. So, I pretty much feel like an ass. I'm so embarrassed.  Guess I'll see when I go back to work Tuesday. *digs hole and inserts head* |

Oh hell, stuff like that happens to everybody. Don't worry about it. Odds are it's bothering you a lot more than it's bothering your co-workers. They've probably forgotten all about it.

Ya know....not everyone is going to agree on a style which is why there are so many of them. If anyone says anything to you about it, just say "My saying that didn't mean that someone else wouldn't love it. It's just not my style." And be done.

Those darn denim dresses are back? Ewwwwww, I hated them when they were in style in the 80's.

Yeah, you're all probably right. I've been stressing over it all weekend. Kinda dumb huh? I guess I just don't want them to think I'm some kind of bigot or something. You have to be so careful what you say now days so you don't offend anyone. OMG! Did I just say that? I used to not care! Is this possible? Denise is growing up? Holy CRAP! Haha! I agree with what everyone's said. People are too easily offended these days and you're only saying what you think is right at the time. If it's that bad, you can only apologise later.
