Howdy all, and to all a good holiday season!
As a photographer I have always bought my archival supplies from Light Impressions. They still sell archival boxes, but for 33's not 45's. Does anyone have storage solution for my other that vintage metal 45 cases and crappy corrugated cardboard boxes? If you don't help me me I'm afraid I'll have to stop buying 7's.... just kidding
all the beats, Todd

I use those flight cases, which work perfectly for me.

I use those flight cases, which work perfectly for me. Simply to discuss, i don't believe that these are actually 'archival' storage.
Well, there can be acid migration/outgassing from wood, & then there's whatever the paint is & the lining & the glue attaching it are made from of course...
…&, whilst i'm not suggesting that they're 100% air tight, given that it's creating a pretty well enclosed environment there would be a good chance of this building up inside the space.
[NB whilst there will be variance, obviously mdf & chipboard have the same overall problem as wood, however, in terms of the cube shelving that lots of us use then the big advantage is that it's not enclosed - though they are still not 'archival' of course.]
Now i'm not saying that this couldn't be mitigated by, for example, using buffered card inside each of the (non-PVC) sleeves (there's a bit of debate about polyethylene vs Mylar, though each have advantages) - but i don't think these meet the specifications that the OP laid down.
Well, in comparison, the album/12" boxes from Light impressions use "Truecore" cardboard - which is simply a trademark for what is basically "buffered, acid- & lignin-free cardboard" - which would be classed as 'archival' & is a completely different animal.
Anyway, the only off the shelf solution i'm aware of that is actually 'archival' is - www.preservationequipment.com/Catalogue/Archival-Storage/Boxes/Phonograph-Record-Storage-Boxes
- however, i don't know how these compare to the "Truecore" ones that the OP is using for LPs & 12"s in terms of thickness of the card, at 1300gsm.
[Edit]
in one of my many points of attempting to start to rationalise 'the collection', i did buy boxes from them for cassettes & they were really decent - however there's not a card thickness listed for them.
[End Edit]
So, an alternative might be to use comic bags, boards & storage boxes - now i think "standard" bags/boards/etc may work, as the boards are 178mm & the bags 181mm across... but it 'might' need to be "silver/gold" ones as (i believe) the next size up.
("current"/"modern" are definitely too small - however they're all i have to hand so can't test anything)
Yeah, obviously the big advantages are that they're dead easy to get hold of (esp as the OP's in the US) & the boxes are certainly robust...
...& the big disadvantage is that it's increasing the vertical height significantly... Though you 'could' use the empty space for writing details of the record on i suppose.

Sorry, didnt focus on the 'archival' part of the question.
My way is definately not suitable for archival purposes then as i keep the lid off to be able to scroll through the 7"s.

Now that Planet Earth 7" I just got from skinburn well have a home and room for friends!!!! Great that you found some, though, whilst of no use to me personally, it might be handy to stick a link in for people on your side of the Atlantic. Otherwise, those are clearly thinner &/or lighter stock card than the Preservation Equipment ones - as 60pt = 1000gsm... ...but, as you clearly see them as being good enough then, comparatively, it's really useful to know that the 1300gsm ones would be worth buying.
