Here's a quick competition for you all.
Dont cheat by looking this quote up on google or the internet.
In which year did Nick Rhodes say this:
Your options are:
1983, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1997, 2007, 2014 or 2019....?

I’ve read similar statements several times. But, I think this is recent. I’m guessing 2019???

Umm...........neither to any of the years suggested lol
How about 2009/10 during the making of AYNIN
or was that the year he said "there's a song destined for the dance floor"? Rather than dance element ?

Great question and format - it's actually nice to see this type of question - I think that you just started a trend. This sounds like something he might say to describe All You Need Is Now - but that album was from 2010 and thats not one of your options. So - I will say 2019 - cause I really cant remember him saying this for any other lead off song. Something that stands out with the words "dance element" - if it was the 80s/90s I think he would say "dance sound" or "dance floor". OR maybe I shouldn't think too hard on this one....

I would guess he spoke of Red Carpet Massacre, assuming that they would release Night Runner as a first single. So, my answer would be 2007.
