I hear Crowded House will be doing additional dates so even if I don't get to this festival I will definitely be roadtripping somewhere to see them. This line up is unbelievable.

i have to say that sunday's line-up is pretty intriguing to me. Rage, the Roots, Paul Van Dyk and WILLIE f___ING NELSON!!! i was raised on that dude...and i've attempted to pass along the willie bug to stupe's daughter madeline. did it work, stupe?? is she as tickled by "Shotgun Willie" as I was at her age??  |

I'd love to see Roky "The American Syd Barret" Erikson but have either already seen or don't really care about most of the rest. I think 13th Floor Elevators is a band with no dead members, too bad Roky isn't joining Rage and Jesus in the reunion camp.
Still, looks like good, balanced bills every night.

She actually played that CD in her room two weeks ago. It's still a big hit with her. I just loved that song when I was little b/c of the line "Shotgun Willie sits around in his underwear." I need to consider going to that festival... |

wow, pretty good - i could live without RATM and the happy freakin' mondays but otherwise i'd love to see these bands! doubt if i can make it though, i was planning on leaving that weekend for europe, for my sister's wedding the following weekend ... :-( i'll have to see, but i doubt i can do both, it would be a lot of travel! ...
