I think I only have one mispress Duran item and that's the UK CD single for Serious. I was quite annoyed to find out that my version had the album version of All Along the Water and not Water Babies. Eventually I did find the correct pressing, but still. I bought the Japanese cd single just to hear Water Babies as it wasn't on my copy of the UK cd single

The other real mispress I remember is the Canadian 7" of Arcadia's Say The Word, with some unknown Artist on B side instead of the Instrumental Version of Say The Word. Long story to get to my point, but with this Shazam app, can't someone figure out who the unknown artist is on the B-side? Or at least look at the matrix on side B and play detective? I've got a copy of the CAN 7", but unfortunately matrix numbers on A and B side are corresponding: A: 78.93707 A1 B: 78.93707 B3 Hz On Discogs I found 2 other releases with cat# 93707, Kraftwerk TransEuropaExpress on Capitol and John Cougar Mellencamp Rave On on WEA. The track sounds like some instrumental part of a movie soundtrack, but also like one of those interludes not necessarily appearing on a soundtrack compilation. The beginning might even sound like Arcadia, but later a slow acoustic guitar sets in, sounding more like a Sting instrumental. I haven't used the Shazam app before, I'll give it a try :-)
