Maybe this has come up before, but did we come up with the definitive fan title yet?
Here are some suggestions:
Underneath the Clocktower - This is a popular meeting place for lovers, but also its a clock; the symbol of time, life, hope and dreams. Also the name of an early unreleased song, a dream from long ago. Fans would get the significance.
Enigmatic Static - Perhaps the opposite of durable and running is mysterious and static, but static is also another word for music, as our ears interpret the sounds into notes.
Fifteen - I know its boring to just name the album after the total number of albums, but its also a trendy title as not many bands have 15 albums.
Survivors - Not just the band, but all of us.
Trace Elements - I just like the title.
The best selection of songs ever produced by any band, ever, especially for an 80s band - Not only a great title, but the length is also a world record breaker too. Free press!

Only one that comes to mind is,
Duran Duran - The End, Yours Truly.

I must admit I love the idea of Underneath the Clocktower, especially of they manage to include a version of it on the new album.

Either 'Shark Sandwich' or 'Smell the Glove' would be appropriate...

Not the first time I've said this, I realize, but I'm still waiting for them to use "enDURANce" as a title for something.
The last seven studio albums (going back to "Thank You") have shared a title with a song on the album though, so realistically we can probably expect that to continue.

Well, all of the studio albums have either been called that or named after a song; though obviously 7&TRT was never taken through to a completed state.
Anyway, one or t'other would be my guess.

TBH I never liked the fact that the 93 release was simply titled Duran Duran especially when taking into account that we had one titled that already in 1981
The fact that it got termed "the wedding LP" for obvious reasons "a differentiating thing" and not necessarily the bands decision, despite the LP artwork being a DD approved concept.
I suppose TWA ought to have been titled Ordinary World & based on the success of that particular song, I'm sure it would have helped its sales to an even greater extent.

Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of the U.K. Promo cassettes. I thought based on the cover art (the DD parent's wedding pics) the industry or fans and/or both? came up with the name TWA
