There is more time to think about names of the album... it is delayed to September. ;-) In time for my birthday I hope. Wasn't the last one released in September also, on the 11th if my memory serves me correctly. Hopefully just like the last one we'll all get to hear it weeks before it's actual release. August then !.............hopefully July

What i understood is that the music is well on its way but they are waiting for Simon to deliver the lyrics. For the new album. A few more European shows will be planned, mostly festivals and some USA shows. And it seems they are not so much bothered by their 40th anniversary...

Its all from Nicks automatic press-feeding machine; and comes up each album. Its a genius idea, and I wish I'd thought of it. I cant remember the order now, but maybe the next one is 'mixing delays'?

Out of touch Millionaires - a true but self deprecating title.

Liberty had a September release back in 1990 -- not having the summer at your back really sucked, they didn't even tour for that...
Remember when Ordinary World leaked in late winter and built up momentum? The whole summer after was all about Duran until Simon's voice gave out in Holland... They even did South Africa... South America... They were unstoppable.
Even AYNIN got it right with the "early" release version that was a Christmas present.
We're not even getting Salvo updates anymore. wtf.

Don't forget "scrapping the whole album" and then starting from scratch to take a whole extra year - because maybe the album sounded too much like the last one... or something like that???

At the risk of people having a go or telling me off, I hope the next album is much better than Paper Gods...Duran are capable of so much more. Maybe it should be an album that sounds more like the classic Duran of days gone by. So if they did go down that road, it could be called 'Back To Our Roots' or simply 'Roots'

What about calling it “New Album next Spring,Summer,Fall” That suits what we have to listen to every time. 😂
