Utterly stupid. My 9 year old son did get asked to take his hood down too, he was with me and his little brother and sister, it was cold. I too stropped out of the shop. But a 2.5 year old? damn ridiculous.

It's getting worse, it was also the same shop where a : was asked to leave for the same reason even though she'd been going in there for the last 40 years.
I can understand people wanting to be safe and security conscious but there are such things as taking it too far and they could show a little common sense, it doesn't take much.

This story reminds me of a time when my friend, who was planning a romantic evening for her hubby's b-day, went into an adult toy store holding her baby. The clerk told her the baby wasn't allowed in the store because she was under 18. How silly.
