Is anyone here other than me listening to Simon's weekly podcast on Spotify? Even if I don't care for all of the songs, I get a kick out of listening to Simon and Katy talk about the music, banter back and forth, and answer listener questions. I hope they continue to produce it, at least until there's new DD music to be heard...

No, I’m not into podcasts. I’d rather read a written interview.

Nope. Can’t stand it.
It’s just wasting valuable recording time. The band could be working on a follow up to their new album.
Do some work, stop being lazy. Get the song writing juices flowing. Be inspired and stop promoting Katy.
This is meant to be about Duran Duran FFS.

Other artists seem to be making new music and releasing it.

And Simon has said several times now that this show has reignited his love of music. I get the sense that he is freshly inspired because of it. And who’s to say they aren’t working on the album?

An additional album? That was my point.

I can't be bothered, honestly. I have no doubt that there are a few gems in there, but I'm just as certain that the vast majority of it would be stuff that I couldn't give a hang about.
It'd probably be a good way to familiarize myself with the myriad of guest artists likely to appear on the next couple of DD albums, though lol.

I've listened to a few of them. I enjoy hearing Simon and find his musical choices worthwhile. He clearly puts sincere effort into selecting them. He's an intelligent, thoughtful person, with interests that overlap with mine, like literature, motorbikes and travel.
However, while I enjoy Simon's enthusiasm and personality, I don't enjoy listening to Katy. She brings it downmarket for me, though she seems sincere. I'd prefer Simon alone, or with much less Katy talking or giving opinions.
Also, I don't generally listen to podcasts, but having these on Spotify makes it easier.
