**thinking good thoughts for Cole**
My "neph-dog" (my nephew who is a dog) likes to forage for and eat whole chocolate candy bars and all kinds of other "no-no's" for dogs. Never has had to go to the vet for any of it.

I got him home from the ER clinic around 9 am this morning. They said his blood sugar was good and liver levels were fine. The regular vet saw him this afternoon but his blood sugar was low (70) so I was told to feed him a good meal and then take him back to the emergency clinic tonight for them to check his sugar levels again. He seems ok but not quite his old self. He weighs about 15 pounds and since he ate such a large amount the doctor is being extra cautious but that is fine by me. Cole just needs to go get a job to pay for this mess  I will keep everyone updated. Thanks for the kind words. |

Cole is definately in my prayers, as for the sugar-free gum, I don't buy it because I'm sensitive to asparteme.

oh, poor cole! glad to hear he's ok. i know how scary it is taking a beloved pet to the emergency room...
