Surprise during part 2 next week. Hmmm......... The new single? Launched late on a Saturday night? Exactly. ‘Peak time’ when every single DD fan will tune in, but not the rest of the world. If it happens it’ll be another calamitous decision. The roll out has been pathetic thus far. They must all be on drugs. We know they have a publishing deal so what the f___ is going on? If anything there should be an interview (with a performance of Invisible) on either Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross for the U.K. side. It could still happen I suppose - but I’m shaking my head in disbelief here.

Very nice indeed, I was able to listen without a VPN even. Nice it’s all about the music and not the cliche talk about the Rio videos, Simon’s audition etc. It covers 1981-1990 but so far not one mention of Warren again. Looking foward to next week’s episode and that “very very special surprise”

It’s abhorrent and a discredit to Warren. Shame on them.

They haven't broadcast part 2 yet, so dont prejudge what they might say.

Why should it be any different now? They got rid of him and that’s obviously not enough. How on earth can Warren be deleted from Liberty and the two magnificent tours of 87’ - 89’? Hmm, who created the riffs on Liberty? Was it JT? No. Was it Nick on synths? No. Was it Simon improvising with his voice? No. I enjoy pre-judging. I enjoy living on the edge. I’ll eat humble pie if they give him 5 minutes airtime next week.

No problem. You must be in the know! Lol. At least I’m able to engineer a discussion. Looks like humble pie for tea - not for the first time. And how did you get first dibs on a listen?

What a pleasurable way to spend an hour! I really enjoyed hearing all the songs again was reminded how cutting edge and innovative they were throughout the 80s, and at the same time dealing with so much negativity. I wasn’t sure how to interpret John’s comments about ‘All She Wants’ which he said was influenced by the minimalism of Prince, but I was surprised when he then said that minimalism doesn’t really work for Duran. He couldn’t possibly be dissing one of the greatest songs of all time?
