True.. their tour dates were in April but with the virus variants I don’t see any concerts this year!!!
TOUR NEWS: Due to the ongoing global Covid-19 outbreak we have to reschedule our European shows once again to spring 2022. Here are the new dates! Original tickets remain valid. Please contact your point of purchase for further details.

They were inactive between 2010 and 2015 indeed but reformed in 2015. Like Duran they do not have hits anymore over here but still a large following and tour regularly. They’re less prolific than Duran, having released 10 studio albums in 36 years, the last one dates from 2015.

I guess I always get confused as to whether its the farewell tour...or the second farewell tour after the comeback from the first farewell tour...

Aha... ‘A-Ha!!’
A great live band with equally excellent PR.
At least they don’t chase after rainbows. They’re in my all time top five artists ever. Want to know the other four? It’ll cost ya! 😉🤣
They did take a break of five years and of course they broke through about 4 years after Duran. Still, I’m not comparing the two as Morten must hold the record as the most recognised vocalist in the world (excluding the USA 😉).
I’m just happy that the greatest bands are still here and making our lives sweeter for it.
I am hopeful that we will see music back on the world stage - But I don’t think we will ever be free of masks. It’ll be part of our make up and dress for my lifetime at least. And you know what? I’ll take that thanks.
Even with vaccines I won’t be gigging just yet, which will be tough as I am a serial gigger!
It’s not been good for my head and I’m a pretty resilient person so I do worry for others who have been hit harder during lockdowns - those in abusive or dysfunctional relationships.
To compensate I’ve been buying more music to support my mental well being and of course the financial implications of those in the music industry. What else is there to spend my cash on?

Besides I paid £1000 for two front row seats and a weekend in London for the ‘Ending on a High Note’ tour. The band were / are the soundtrack to my 35 year partnership with my wife. Was I pissed when I heard a year later they had reformed? Not really as I had a f___ing excellent weekend! Lol So if anybody *should* be pissed that person would be me. 😉

But I can imagine what this board would be like if DD squeezed additional pennies out of their fans with their 'farewell' tour only to come back a year later..

It was 5 years later actually, they disbanded in 2010 and reformed in 2015. And they have had the same line up for 36 years
