Aha... ‘A-Ha!!’ A great live band with equally excellent PR. At least they don’t chase after rainbows. They’re in my all time top five artists ever. Want to know the other four? It’ll cost ya! 😉🤣 Hmmmmm...let me guess! In no particular order: - Aha -Duran Duran -TV Mania -Missing Persons -‘N lighten Up Nah.. ‘must try harder’! Lighten up? What, and give DD a break? Not in my nature - sorry! 😉

A-ha isn’t big in the U.S., but like most European acts that never broke through beyond a one-hit wonder, I suspect I wouldn’t be disappointed by their catalog. I always enjoyed their Bond theme song, too.

Saw A-ha on the Cast in Steel tour and rarely have I seen band look so p***** off about being on stage with absolutely no on stage chemistry at all. I dont think they even looked at each the entire evening
Morten spent the entire wandering around looking like he wanted to be somewhere else- at one point he walked off stage and I genuinely thought he'd simply quit the show.

Morten doesn't do the stage routines like the Michael Hutchence’s of this world - he never has. His singing does the talking (so to speak..lol!), and its obviously done very well for him. Trust me, he is happy. May not look it - but he is! Lol

I personally don't take A HA seriously... But I can imagine what this board would be like if DD squeezed additional pennies out of their fans with their 'farewell' tour only to come back a year later.. It was 5 years later actually, they disbanded in 2010 and reformed in 2015. And they have had the same line up for 36 years My point is still valid...

You’re from the USA, so why would you be expected to take A-Ha seriously? They weren’t massive over there so you wouldn’t appreciate that they are class musicians. I’ve lived through the years with all of A-Ha’s albums like you’ve lived through the years of..say, The GoGo’s - they’re American right? I think you ‘guys’ have to work harder to find great music outside of your borders. If artists from the U.K. (or Norway) haven't broken you it must be tough? Most of the music I love - bands I have remained loyal to are probably 9-1 outside of the US. Me not taking A Ha seriously has nothing to do with geographics or how big they were in the US...just personal opinion. I had my vinyl Hunting High and Low back in the day...

Lol I know he's never done the big frontman thing live, but it was a weird experience seeing the lack of chemistry- I'm aware of the history of the bands internal relationship struggles That said I've got tickets for the tour that is currently in May 2022 ( assuming such things are still not banned by then)- as I really want to see songs like Boys Adventure Tale performed live. Hopefully they can add Lifelines and Minor Earth Major Sky into the set list during the gap
