Sorry, no. They did bring the AYINN to UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia and France. I really don‘t get your point of sticking to this always repeated-to-death narrative that they did not tour Europe since the reunion. Because it is simply not true. I live in Germany and had the chance to see them multiple times in Europe during each tour- including Paper Gods.

Ok, then it's my mistake, DD's focus is apparently not on the US but to a similar extent to Europe. Who am I to complain? I should have gotten tickets for that fashion show in Monaco or the Zagreb or Istanbul open air festival. Did you enjoy the Paper Gods Tour in Germany too? Great shows no doubt.
Back on topic: a-ha has a string of dates set for North-America in 2021 (will be rescheduled probably) and played in Vegas in 2013. They also toured the USA in 2010 so that issue is settled then. They do tour the US regularly. Especially impressive since they broke up between 2010 and 2015 (still managed to play that Vegas show).
There are 750 million people living in Europe and 580 in North-America. You can do the math with respect to the number of shows DD played on both continents since 1981...but apparently it is enough since there is hardly demand for DD product in Europe.

I don`t if you understood what I said. I never said that they have a focus on Europe when it comes to touring. I know that they are focussed on the US market when it comes to live shows. What I say is: I don`t constantly complain about this fact. And I don`t constantly deny the fact that Duran Duran is touring UK and Europe for each album/tour cycle. What I do is to get my ass up (just like everyone else, also in the US) and do a little bit of travelling when they do not come to Germany directly to my home town - because I love this band, because I love seeing them live and because I don´t know if there will be another chance in the near future to experience them in concert. I have seen fantastic shows in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Rotterdam, Paris or Milan. What bores me is this constantly repeated same quality of "always complain" when it comes to areas of touring. When you want to see them live, you can - even without travelling to the US. There are chances to see them live within 2-3 hours of travelling for each tour. And I never regretted doing that.

Not everybody has the money (or the circumstances) to just fly off to catch a gig in another part of the continent or world. I certainly don’t. If I did I wouldn’t be just limiting it to Duran Duran shows either. It is highly obvious that Duran Duran have made the USA their home and their focus is ultimately dollars. All you have to do is read their social media and it’s very heavy on targeting the USA. Since ‘whoosh’ moved from Spotify to Sirius or whatever it is, Non USA fans have been ‘complaining’ that they are unable to listen to it since the move. Should they also not be complaining? The issue there is that it is not been addressed by Katy Krassner. No replies, or if you’re lucky you may get an arrogant response advising to speak with management (who are about as useful as a fart in a paper bag). Yes, the band did tour PG in the U.K. so you’ll be pleased to realise that I’m unable to ‘complain’ about that. However, they continued to tour the album for the next 3 years wasn't it? Sucking the life and blood out of it I recall. And where were the venues? You got that right - the good old USA. They came to Birmingham (U.K. - not the USA variant) once. Their supposed homecoming got just the one appearance. Due to really bad image branding and dire public relations over the last 20 years, DD are a lost commodity as far as the ROW is concerned. It’s a fact. Nobody outside the USA is no longer interested in them. That’s not my fault. It’s not *our* fault. As for asking people not to complain is just inconceivable. When you’re passionate enough to speak up it shows you still care.

Yes, I got your point. And you are right with your remarks.

I just hope they do some kind of activity for non-US fans for their 40th.
Before Covid I traveled easily but I've never been the kind of person who flies to Rome or Croatia to see Duran Duran in concert. I don't have the time for that. To see them in the Western part of Germany would be no problem but it's been a while since they played there too. And I do not like festivals or outdoor concerts so that's a no for me too (I don't enjoy standing in the rain in a muddy field in the middle of nowhere to listen to 45 minutes of my favourite bands in a program of other acts I do not like in a crowd of 10000s) I saw them in NYC in 2005 but I happened to be there for a conference so that was a nice coincidence.
Of course I exaggerate I but when it comes to them never touring in Europe, but the options have been very limited in the last 10 years. I wanted to go to the AYNIN show in the Hague but that got cancelled, not sure why I did not bother to go to one of the later German dates, probably too inconvenient datewise, or maybe they had already sold out at the time?
