Someone Else Not Me, singles released March. The Pop Trash album is released June, followed by the 'Pop Trash Tour. John performs more dates with Terroristen.

Final shows with Warren. Missing Persons Reunion. The original five members Reunion. The band start to record demos for Astronaut.
2002
Second year of working on Astronaut. Dark Circles released.
2003
The band spend a third year demoing new songs for Astronaut. They send a sampler CD to publishers. The Duran Duran - (2003) - The Reunion Tour.
2004
(Reach Up for The) Sunrise released in September. Astronaut released October, and many songs on the Astronaut album are remixed by other artists. The Reunion Tour continues.
2005
The Astronaut Tour. What Happens Tomorrow single released. The band start work on Reportage.
2006
The band record Reportage. Astronaut Tour continues. Andy leaves the band. The new album is rejected.
2007
Duran Duran plays several prominent shows, and prepares for the November launch of Red Carpet Massacre.
2008
Duran Duran promotes and tours around the world to support the Red Carpet Massacre album.

The first six songs of All You Need Is Now are completed. Some sporadic touring.

Second year of developing the All You Need Is Now album. Some dates with Mark Ronson, and only a few others. A scheduled tour start in South Africa is cancelled.

The All You Need Is Now album is released in March. Another Tour From Hell year is postponed during the summer due to Simons throat.

The band tour the All You Need Is Now album for most of the year. John releases his book Into The Pleasure Groove.
2013
Duran Duran tentatively return to the studio with Mark Ronson to work on the Paper Gods album. A quiet year.
2014
Second year working on the Paper Gods album. A Diamond In The Mind released. One small tour at the end of the year.
2015
Paper Gods album is mixed. Pressure Off released in June. Album released in September. Paper Gods tour.

A huge tour to support Paper Gods.

A second year touring Paper Gods, including a special show at The Louvre in Paris.

Another quiet year. The BBC present a special Evening With Duran Duran show in the summer.

The band begin work on their 15th studio album. A few more dates on their Paper Gods tour.

The second year recording their 15th album. Progress slows due to a global pandemic scare. John begins a series of interviews and bass tutorials.

The band mix their 15th studio album and get ready for release, perhaps September. A small number of concerts are rearranged due to a global pandemic scare.

Second Year touring their 15th album. A limited edition rough cuts and b-sides release.

A quiet year, SLB finally releases the autobiography.

I do think that 2028, their 50th year, might be their farewell album and tour. But it would be very nice if they could release at least three albums between now and that final show...
