Don't laugh, Dani that happens to my mom a lot. She's an office manager for a big doctor's office and girls go to lunch and don't come back. literally. These are girls at the front desk that want an RN's pay but don't have that kind of education (go figure  ) Hang in there and remember, the best time to get a good job is when you already have one.....at least you have one! |

Yeah i know..Thanks...I'm trying to stick with it and not be such a baby, it is a change from what I did before and that is what I wanted. I just don't think i'm cut out for this at the moment. It wouldnt be so bad if they had better training. I feel so bad for the people they have stuck me and this other new girl with. The first day he put us on, they just do not have a decent training set up.

It is possible to hate it after 3 days, but give it a couple of weeks if you can........Or marry a rich old man and kill him with too much sex! What a way to go. I bet that old guy who married Anna Nicole Smith and died is pissing himself right now..  |

Is it at least in the industry you want? If so, stick it out a while longer... maybe you just need to absorb the culture there more before saying no to it.

It's possible to know you hate a job right away. I've had several jobs I hated within a few hours of my first day. My current job I hated within three months of starting.

I worked in the box office of a theater back in Buffalo for only a few hours. I wouldn't have had a problem with it had some ign'ant ghetto-acting women not made cracks and said things like "ain't you speak English?" to me because I was quiet. (I am always quiet when first getting to know people.)
If those were the type of people I was going to be around, then I'll pass.
