New Katy Kafe w/ Simon is on DDM.com. Biggest piece of news is that there's a new song coming out this week featuring the Chai, which appears to be a Japanese all-female pop group. chai-band.com/They also talk about how PG wasn't "sensitively handled" by the record company "that shall remain nameless" but are very excited about the rollout for Future Past. He also mentioned that there will be a deluxe version of the album out at Christmastime, which may feature an additional single if I understood him correctly. Katy mentions the title track, saying it is different than anything else she's heard from the band. (How many times have we heard that?!?) Simon gets into a really cool bit about streaming royalties and how he's involved with an initiative to change the way artists are compensated. Check out #brokenrecord

Check out #brokenrecord Okay I am confused..so in October we will only get a 10 song Vinyl and 12 song CD album and the deluxe version is NOT coming out in October the 3 additional songs? So the Deluxe version 12 plus 3 is not out until Christmas with a possible new single? I normally go to Target the day the album drops and buy the 12 song CD and sometimes like PG Target had an exclusive deluxe version when a Duran album drops...I don't do the preorder normally cause I love seeing the new album at a store and or in the weekly flyer..I am old school!

It'll be the Super-Deluxe Vinyl Factory Edition that comes out at Christmas with real gold dust and priced at £1,000, and which will be the one place on earth to get the killer single that we've been waiting for since 1993.

The spinal tap style doc that’s coming about DD will be GOLD. In the meantime, this is good news, provided it’s not the banger.😁

Check out #brokenrecord Clarification please: Skinburn in the Future Past News! thread states that “Moroder is up next (after Invisible)” based on his listen to the newest Katy Kafe. So does that mean that the song coming out this week will be with this Japanese all-female pop group, Chai, and produced by Moroder. That sounds wild!

Why sell fans just one copy when they can sell us six for 6x the price (or more)! Seriously, though, I love my deluxe versions of AYNIN and PG on vinyl. I hope for a similar treatment with Future Past.

My news is from an external source.

Here's a taste of what to expect (perhaps) with a Gorillaz song called "MLS." I can't wrap my head around this collaboration frankly.

What about PG wasn’t handled ‘sensitively’? Or did he mean ‘sensibly’?
