I have several FP signed prints.....all awful. Well, that's good to hear! (at least they're consistent)

Mine is signed as ‘Simon’ and I recall seeing someone on the board with ‘SLB’ :-) I have SLB. They are originals. It would have been better for the band to have some PR shots of them signing the vinyl though - which is common practise now. Although I expect it was difficult to get everybody sat in the same room for six hours for a signing session. I did come across a picture of JT (forgot the other) signing albums. I can compare sigs to my Astruant album, which they signed in front of me.

I’m sure they’re legit. And any signed memoribila is lovely. However, it is to be expected that when a lone fan or small group approaches the band for autographs the care and attention is greater. Signing 1000 copies of anything is not fun. Any autographs I’ve ever collected, DD or otherwise, I’ve always asked to be personalised. I’ve no intention of monetising their signature and it’s more significant for me. They don’t always oblige but I do ask. I’ve a Bryan Ferry Townsend and an in person autograph, they are poles apart. I think be realistic here folks. It’s signed. It’s great. Enjoy it for what it is.

I feel the need/responsibility to post after just seeing this YT clip
I have usually had dd sign my vinyl stuff eg 12 inch LPs or 7 inch The latter still having more space than a CD
After seeing this, I’ve just had a thought it’s possible then that for space availability DD have abbreviated the autographs Please see clip attached 8 minutes in
Now I’m thinking they are legit
I feel I need to apologise to people for any confusion and literally opening a can of worms, yet I was only trying to help in the first instance
Go 8 minutes in & decide for yourself

They posted a picture of them signing the prints, and I've got 2 different signatures on the Amazon and DD Store versions plus the signed RCM and they're all slightly different.

I received my signed Deluxe copies from Amazon UK earlier today. I've only opened one, the other will remain sealed for now. When i saw the signed insert I was immediately dubious as they were unlike their autographs as I'm used to (I have several from Astronaut time written in front of me and then some going back to the 90s and 80s).
Simon has signed just Simon. John just John. They look like their handwriting but I'm used to them signing their surnames. Roger has signed Ro then it looks like he couldn't be bothered.Lol. Nick has signed NR with a star. Again, I've only known hkm ti sign fully. After reading this thread I now believe that they are genuine but they got older and who can blame them for keeping it short, particularly when they used to sign with such flourish. Bless.

View AttachmentI think this is on Facebook? But it was brought to my attention earlier. 10.000+ items to sign...then I completely understand why they decided to go for the intitials I still have to receive mine, probably this week. Curious to see what version of the intitials im getting Luckily I already got some beautiful full real signatures from earlier eras These initials will be a fine addition to the collection
