As the show is all about their legacy, one FP song. I cant imagine Andy or Warren would want to play anything off FP.
Predictions: Hungry Like The Wolf - Andy - almost guaranteed to happen. Skin Trade Ordinary World - Warren - a no brainer, but would still prefer Sinner or Saint, PLU or Be My Icon Anniversary Dead Ringer for Love - with Cher as a special guest
John Said "I think people would be very disappointed if there wasn’t something from the Rio album. And I’d like to see Andy Taylor playing guitar on that.
But there’s going to be something off Future Past too, because this is not a band that just goes out and plays five or six songs that are all over 20 years old. It’s not the way we do business. So it’s going to be like, “How do we present the journey that is Duran Duran?” in six songs, or seven songs or whatever. But we live for solving problems like that. "

I want Wing. But I also want world peace. Both are equally likely. I predict Anniversary, but would much prefer Tonight United which I think is a more likable song. I don't care that I'm only one of ten people in the world to like Tonight United. It's the best up-tempo song on the record 😀 who are the other eight? cause i've loved "tonight united" since it dropped on it's own--and while "beautiful lies" didn't grab me right away--it's a favorite now as well. i don't know what others expected of the moroder tracks--it's not like the donna summer stuff he did had amazingly different/exceptional lyrics, and hell. moroder has called "take my breath away" the track/work he is most proud of--but the lyric was written by a mechanic who fixed the brakes on giorgio's ferrari--they were meant to be played and enjoyed for the dance tracks that they are. it's a total guess really. could be any number of songs. i would almost give the nod to "invisible" since it's kinda edgy/noisy, but it didn't make an impact on the charts/radio. "anniversary" has been kinda a thing with the duran/40th/etc. "tonight united" didn't make any chart/radio noise. i almost think it will be "beautiful lies." would be happy with almost any "future past" track, since some are probably destined to never be played live--and that's a f$# ING shame.

i have to think that any "future past" material would be with dom on guitar, plus maybe coxon if everyone wanted to make that happen. no need to force andy/warren into that place when they weren't involved in the writing/recording/rehearsals that made "future past" and the shows so far.
it's not gonna happen--but it's common duran duran knowledge that andy and warren both played on "american science," with andy doing the first guitar solo and warren the second--if they wanted to bridge the gaps as far as acknowledging their changes and knock us all sideways, playing "american science" with both--that would be the way to do it.

I said it in another thread, but I think Anniversary would be the obvious choice considering the subject matter and the classic sound. Considering they've been playing Beautiful Lies and not Anniversary at recent shows I wouldn't be surprised if that was played, but it just crushes me that there's no guitar on that song. I, too, would love to see Wing performed, but I don't see that happening...

i think "ordinary world" will be the only slower/quieter song, given that the rock hall induction is a celebration. and it's undeniable as far as being a near-perfect song, no matter what the opinions of the band may be.
