Wish I had time to read - I am presently writing my chapter about Assia Djebar's "L'amour, la fantasia" (a deep, though sometimes difficult to read and complicated Islamic feminist novel). The last novel I read for fun was so bad that I don't care to admit the title.

I'm reading Richardens' Great Expectations. My local Borders closed up shop and was selling at half price, so I picked up some classics.

I'm reading Richardens' Great Expectations. My local Borders closed up shop and was selling at half price, so I picked up some classics. Hey, I did that at a WaldenBooks in the mall that went out of business. Picked up Anna Karenina, This Side of Paradise, Tender Is The Night (I don't remember F. Scott Fitzgerald being this good in high school) and East of Eden. I thought all were good, but Anna Karenina and especially East of Eden were the best books I'd read in a long time.
