Hi all!
I wanted to make a thread for everyone to post about all the info regarding this new project : titles/ release date/ collaborations ETC
I know Nick has confirmed a cover of “Spellbound” as well as John confirming they worked on 3 new songs with Nile.
Simon spoke about Andy playing on some remakes of original tracks.
Any other news?

I believe they have said they are hoping to release it by the end of the year, which means it will probably come out in early 2026.

I know a reliable source that says album will come out end of September early to mid October BEFORE Halloween..
They are finishing it up after 1st USA dates tour are done. They have a 2 month break..before 2nd leg of US tour completes..
Take it with a grain of salt as this person has been correct maybe 55 to 70% of the time...
He used to be in the record industry...

I know a reliable source that says album will come out end of September early to mid October BEFORE Halloween.. They are finishing it up after 1st USA dates tour are done. They have a 2 month break..before 2nd leg of US tour completes.. Take it with a grain of salt as this person has been correct maybe 55 to 70% of the time... He used to be in the record industry... He must be a genius to predict it would be out before Halloween. Real inside knowledge |

If it were to be released at the end of October for example, it is already time for a new single to be released. If they want to promote it well, they should release at least two singles before the album, do a promo in the media and some videos. Otherwise, it will be an explosion in a bad way, if we consider the fact that a large part is covers and reworked old songs. Personally, I’m not very excited about this. After their successful three last albums I would rather wait for a full - fledged new, regular, studio album. It all feels so rushed. I hope it goes well.

Finish Halloween covers..already finished Superstition..get album remixed..watch after tour if they are done and don't leave right away and head to LA studio with John. Dead give away album is going to come out this year... The 'Girls on Film' hitmakers will record most of the record in Los Angeles and London, but frontman Simon has already flown to Ibiza to record with Andy in his studio. |

Every Christmas album I know..the singles always get released end of November or beginning of December...I think Ed Sheeran and Elton's Christmas duet song was released 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas... They can easily have a "new" song released just after 2nd leg tour done.. Kind of defeats the purpose of releasing a Halloween album After Halloween... Besides, in what universe has DD ever finished 3 new songs in 1 week! That's never happened! Book it! album coming out this year! |

Of course I will support the band by buying the album, I just think they should have come out with a brand new album after an excellent trilogy. Regarding Andy, Simon commented: "He's played on a lot actually... some of the songs we're doing are songs that Andy played on originally and I think we all said, 'come on let's just get Andy on them'... he's an incredibly creative guitarist and it's turning out really well." Finish Halloween covers..already finished Superstition I'd love to hear their take on Superstition  |
