"April 20 - Record Store Day 2024. DD has something lined up, not TWA."
I am starting to think this was a lie?
SDE TWA was shelved because they said the band had something lined up?

Never forget Durantime. I think we will likely get reportage this year so that may just be enough for them.😁😉

There was a rumor of the 1984 concert in Oakland during Sing Blue Silver Tour, but I guess this didn't come to fruition.

Wasn't NR who said that TWA was shelved because most of the demos were already rounding there?

I honestly do NOT want TWA to be part of Record Store Day. IMO a better for customer model is to take pre-orders so enough copies are produced to meet demand. Or just sell them on the DD website or as Indie Exclusives. There are still enough record stores that have websites that could manage this and still generate revenue for their businesses.
Plus I want a box set with several CD's and a DVD/Blu Ray.
RSD is ok for some rare exclusive records and collectibles, but some like me just want to buy the record and not have to worry about lines and stuff selling out. It's quite annoying haha.

They’ve already released No Ordinary EP from TWA era. That era had a wonderful artwork. They should release a nice picture disc

This guy wasn't happy..another blown opportunity with Arena 40th Anniversary ...the quietness in DD camp on albums not tours has been silent all of a sudden? Unless November BF? forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/record-store-day-2024-april-20th.1192231/page-21Disappointed to NOT see anything from The Pink Floyd in regards to "The Division Bell" which celebrates its 30th anniversary in April. A re-issue of the RARE single disc, edited vinyl version from 1994 would have been nice. Also, no Duran Duran, considering "Arena" will be turning 40 this November. A 2-LP release of the FULL 1984 concert from Oakland, CA would be most welcome (RSD Black Friday?)

Such a cool store. Also noticed it was a post from WXRT, they were one of the first station to play Duran Duran in the USA.
