At least that was due to being energetic on stage, let’s face thankfully dd are not stool pigeons on stage speaking of falling so did Chris Martin from cold play via a trap door hole in the stage that hadn’t been closed up now that’s embarrassing when his stage staff are not focusing and neither is Chris poor guy

Too funny, they go see The Cure who play 31 songs, including super rarity like ‘Secrets’ and then dial in a greatest hits set.

Probably bollocks re seeing The Cure. There's no pics of them appeared online at the concert.
I put it down to lazy journalism. It was probably Gary and Martin Kemp that were there!!!

So far I saw Pedro Pascal, Boy George and Billy Armstrong. No DD yet...but I can see Nick and JT flying there to see the show. NME is pretty accurate normally...

The logistics of flying to see The Cure do add up:
DD ended MSG at 10:45pm on 10/31, which is 4:45am 11/1 London time.
Getting to NY-Kennedy or NJ-Newark is at least an hour from MSG. Let's say at best a chartered flight left at 12:30am / 6:30am London Time. It's at least a 7 hour flight to London from NY. That means at best anyone who flew from NY arrived at 1:30pm London time. Getting to a hotel / rest around 2:30pm London. Gives them about 4 hour rest.
The Cure went on at 1pm EST / 8pm London, ended at 11:00pm 11/1. If they slept overnight in London and chartered a flight (they could not risk commercial with a show in NH scheduled) and left at 10am London, they would arrive in NH at around 12pm EST 11/2 - plenty of time to rest for the show.
So yea, technically, it's possible that members of the band dropped $30 - $40K to do this on a chartered flight.

But man, 14 hours of flying, who knows how much the flights cost, to see The Cure play basically the same songs they played on the 2023, 2022 tours with a few exceptions... I'm a diehard Cure fan and I wouldn't have done that lol... I drove from NC to Atlanta in 2023 and that was a lot, and in the same time zone ha ha...

Crazy to leave to travel watch show and come back? So far it's Pedro Pascal, Boy George and Billy Armstrong from Green Day, but no DD?
