Robert Schimmel is absolutely hilarious. Years ago I was going through a very painful breakup with someone, and as I tossed and turned in bed one night, I found his stand-up on HBO. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. It was precisely what I needed, and while I won't say Robert Schimmel was the reason I got over my ex, that performance was the catalyst for my moving in the right direction. Naturally, I went out and bought two of his comedy CD's, and it wasn't nearly as funny as I'd remembered. Still, seeing his show meant a lot to me. |

I like many of them for different reasons. Some are controversal some are plan old boring but funny as hell.
