Allergies are a pure joy.

I spent this morning cleaning out my attic - well, come to find out, it's home to a fast breeding clan of dust bunnies.

I can't stop sneezing, my eyes look like I've been up all night snorting everything but the kitchen sink, my nose is red raw and runny.

and the laundry beckons for me....

@patty: so sorry to hear you have such a bad relationship with your mum.
Read some of your posts and I think it you could use a bit of support from your relatives.

Try to concentrate on the good things in life and don't waist any energy on bad things or bad people.

I thought the throw up htread was the TMI thread.

Because of the ice storm & a heavy workload I didn't do laundry for more than two weeks. Pretty much went through a whole bottle of Febreeze. At least I had lots of clean underwear! ;D

I am so exhausted today. Threw my sister-in-law's baby shower, which turned out to be about 25 mothers and grandmother (except Michelle and her best friend, who are expecting their first baby) talking about being pregnant and the ensuing visit of the titty fairy (I think all but the pregnant two were a little in their cups by then), and various motherhood war stories. Another one who wasn't drinking--Michelle's youngest cousin Brittany, who is 17--had to endure her mother's recollection of taking her for her first bra, for our benefit. I had made the comment I had to get pregnant with my second child to break into B cup status and Karen--Brittany's Mom--recalled how she had laughed till she cried when, after taking Brittany for her first bra (and none would fit) she finally found one called..........

..............Sweet Nothings.

I thought Brittany was going to die, we were pretty much in the floor at this point; having told Michelle everything about going from no boobs to "Eureka!" shortly after the baby comes, and then having to hold off indignant husbands........the Sweet Nothings story was too much to take. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I am loving my Sunday. It's the only day of the week that I can just take care of me, my house, my hubby, etc....Today was another successful Sunday in which I did not leave the house (or get dressed in anything other than flannels). Sometimes I live for Sunday.

I hear you. My baby shower was actually yesterday. The exhaustion today is the result of combination party preparation/hangover. Those Sangria hangovers be a beeaatch.

I'm reading my History assignments. Doing laundry in the clothes I wore to bed last night. For dinner they're getting the leftover chicken and pasta salad from yesterday. Bon appetit. I'm hitting the hay at 8:00..........sweet dreams.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm also suffering from withdrawal, from there being no football on today. After next weeks, it's all over, until arena starts in March. I'll try not to go crazy before then.
