my daughter is now hooked on Sesame Street, which is great, I LOVE seeing most of the old (from back in the 70's, LOL) people are still on there, BUT......................................... if I could just reach through the T.V. and put my hands around Elmo's neck and choke the crap out of him, I would be all too happy!!!! That little red puppet annoys the hell out of me!!! THANK GOD my daughter doesn't seem as interested in him as much as she does Cookie Monster (just like her mom ) I never thought a muppet could irritate me so much!!

LOL......oh, no!!
I remember when Christopher was about two or three, he decided he loved Mr. Rogers. I thought if I heard "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood," sang one more time, I would go mad.
Maybe when she's a bit older she'll get into SpongeBob SquarePants....I LOVE SpongeBob, as silly as that sounds.

I absolutely love Sesame Street. I think it's a great show. Elmo annoys me big time. Anytime I see him on something I want to strangle him. I think the older SS is much better.

Elmo says, Elmo not annoying, Elmo loveable.
I can't ever remember being annoyed by a muppet.

Hahaha I am beginning to feel the same way about 1. Spongebob's LAUGH & 2. The Hannah Montana song... Ohhh myyy............ ha..........
I don't mind watching Spongebob at times but like if u are in another room and he is on the TV in the other room, the sounds he makes and the laughs and all that can really get to a person!

I have great memories of watching Sesame Street while growing up. I had a Big Bird puppet that I dragged around with me everywhere. I once split my chin open on my record player while listening to a Sesame Street album and had to go and get stitches. (OK, that last one wasn't such a great memory, but my other ones are! )
My kids never really got into it, though. I was sad about that. Instead they liked that purple freak Barney and the Wiggles.

While I was at Best Buy tonight (getting my copy of deluxe RCM, ) I broke down and got the "Volume 1 Old School" Sesame Street on dvd. It has episodes from 1969-1974.............with NO Elmo!! ;D Anyway, I put it in for my daughter when we got home and she was still diggin' it, and I can't believe I still remember most of the stuff on it! LONG LIVE COOKIE MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D
