I cant believe she said she's 161lbs, I dont know how tall she is but she definatley doesnt look that much - she's gotta be 6ft to pull that off. I think she looks good. I think its those stick-thin lollipop headed actresses that look terrible... I think she's 5'11"ish |

wow then I dont see how it's possible she's 161 - she looks 140! .. I guess it just goes to show you the numbers dont matter as much as how the weight is carried.

I'm watching the Tyra show now. She's onstage wearing the same swimsuit in those tabloid pics... she looks pretty damn good to me! She also showed some un-retouched pics from the photo shoot the day tabloid pics were taken... she showed both good and bad shots, both in that one-piece swimsuit and a two-piece. She may be a little heavier than her Victoria's Secret days, but she can still work it!

Because of that kind of news, one woman in her 30's appear today in the news asking for help, she has anorexia, she was 128 lbs, and now she is 62 lbs... she is a living skeleton with a -how do I spell "desnutrición" in english!?- well translate it for me please desnutrición degree 3!
And its in Oaxaca state, where that is way strange to happen!!!!

I actually dig Tyra. She is one of the only fashion people who think the whole skinny thing is bullshit and has no problem expressing it. I wish she could change it, but it will never change. Fact is fat is ugly and skinny is not. It will always be that way. It's almost more acceptable that someone is anorexic & 10lbs under weight then 20lbs over weight. It's ridiculous!

@patty it's Malnutrition. I knew a girl/woman who psyched herself into not being able to eat anything. she was very boney. now she is divorced and fat. I feel bad for her. She has dropped me out of her life.(it is ok) not that i could do anything for her. I never understood her anyway. (psycho)
boo hoo I didn't get to see todays show. cable is out til tomrow. (I like a good drama)

When skinny hags [(c) my Ma] like Posh Spice and Terri Hatcher are held up as body shapes to aspire to, is it any wonder when someone famous has a weight that's approaching normal they're insulted and called fat.
If I had a body shape anything near Tyra Banks, I would be on my knees praising God every day for a fabulous figure like that.

I watched her show today and I think she said she was only 5'9" and that her weight was right where it's supposed to be for that height; between 140 and 165 (I think). She's probably more muscle than fat as well.
Sounds good to me. I'm 5'8.5" and I land within that range; so it definitly makes me feel better about my own body.
