whew. i have been negotiating the terms of an employment agreement that i received last wednesday. initially, on friday, i sent the employer an email and in their written response, they did not budge on anything. then...on monday, i sent another email to them with my revised requirements and remaining concerns. i received no response. well....fed ex just came to my door with a package which contained an amended agreement. I GOT WHAT I WANTED!!!  |

Thanks, all!!!
It's been a bit of a rough haul emotionally since last October when my boss died. That was a BIG shock.
This is by no means my dream job but it's only about a 2 year commitment and it's got dream job type money. If I work hard, this might be my last "JOB," as I can take the money I make and use it to start building and developing on my own.
I'm just relieved that I've still got effective negotiating skills and that I got what I needed.
