so...where i live, we've seen VERY LITTLE snow so far this season (most of it has come well after the holiday).... i just thought i'd post a little weather update for the weekend and part of the upcoming week: ....notice all the lovely FLURRIES/SNOW SHOWERS we're going to get? they keep saying that...and yet, we have less than an inch on the ground ...actually, it looks more like a dusting...... either we're getting snow....or we're not..... not to mention that tonight's/tomorrow's forecast has changed about 20 times today alone.... (by NO MEANS does this mean i WANT snow!!! i don't mind a little bit...but, more than a few inches is a pain in the BUTT!!!)

We are getting a little bit of snow. The cold is bad now. People are saying we have ''hot" weather today and it's only in the 20's! A couple weeks ago we had 40's. Not normal January weather. Some people were walking around in shorts.

As I've noticed, the expressions "flurries" and "snow showers" mean "little to no accumulation." I'd only get concerned if they would say "snow," period. Or "blizzard." Though it's been a while since I've seen one of those.

I think the weather people on TV in my area are getting anxious for a storm. Every time there is a chance of snow, they make a big deal and blow everything out of proportion... then it turns out to be absolutely NOTHING!

We have a little snow on the ground here. Not nearly as much as we usually have. It's going to be very cooooold here. I hope I don't have to leave the house on Sunday.

anything above zero would be great right now. we have some snow, a few inches but it's really really cold. i think they said on sat am it was gonna be like minus 25 with the windchill. and the high was in the single digets, like 4 or something. man i can't wait for summer.
