Ok, some of you know that we have a camp on a lake on Mt. Desert Island, Maine, USA. One of our neighbors (two lots away on our camp road) are Susan and Tim.
A looooooooooooong time ago, Susan Sarandan's father settled on this property. He lived in a modest house the on shore of the lake and we were treated to summer visits from Susan and Tim, as well as her sister and cousins, etc. Dad died about 6-7 years ago. Susan inherited the property. Dad was well-loved by the local community, a local curmudgeon (spelling?), and treated us to lots of fun stories about his days as a radio DJ in NYC. He loved all his children, and was very proud of Susan's accomplishments.
Since last autumn, we are in the midst of major construction on their property. They have taken the old house, moved the whole bloody thing, added several additions, cut down virtually all of the surrounding wooded areas and created a fortress fit for the gated communities of LA. Can we say environmentally conscious? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Now.......what the hell do you think they intend to do with this property?. I have no clue, nor does anyone else in the neighborhood. Are we to be treated to anti-Bush summer rallies with guests such as Hanoi Jane and company? My Republican instincts can think of a lot of fun scenarios should such be their intent.
Question: If YOU were Susan and Tim, what would you be plotting?
