Chalk me up as a Jim Cantore fan too. There's also a reporter on the Weather Channel named Jorma Duran. He has the coolest last name ever.

Wiarton Willie and some groundhog named Sam did see their shadows so I think they may be right over Phil. Although I do love Phil dearly.
What are the names of the other prognosticating groundhogs out there? I know somewhere here in Ohio we have Buckeye Chuck.

this is my first winter in SoCal - our winters here are springlike anyway - I'm okay with Punxsutawney Phil's forecast this year, shadow or not

Oops, April, correction - he DID NOT see his shadow, so YES there will be an early spring. It's the opposite of what you'd think; no shadow means early spring. *bends over to receive whuppin' for 1/2 wrong answer* Schmacko, I still get partial credit for knowing the early spring part, right?
