I got to see the whole DVD in Washington, DC (actually in Gaithersburg for the locals) when they screened it across the country. It was really awesome to see all of them on the giant screen and hear different parts of the theatre cheer for their favorite member.
Now when I pop the DVD in, it takes me back to that evening when the whole theatre broke out in a chant because they hadn't played the special intro and the 3D version of "I Don't Want Your Love"!

charmedj, I was at that screening, too. It was so much fun. I'd already watched the DVD by then, but it was twice as much fun on the big screen with a bunch of fellow screaming Duranies.
I think the poor theater manager was a little scared of us by the end of the night! No way were we not going to get the intro and 3D song!

For those of you who haven't watched the whole thing yet, you really should - its great! I turn the volume right up to try to get the feeling that I'm there in the front row! I really like the documentary on the DVD too!

Yeah, the screening was great! We didn't get the intro either (I understand they showed it after we left). It also took them a while to get the 3D part on. I always wonder what happened to all the signed guitars that got given away!
I'd never heard Nightboat before that night, that was really cool!! But I think my fave song on the DVD is Planet Earth.
If you haven't seen the whole thing, at least watch Girls on Film; the introductions are a hoot!

I, too, feel somewhat sad when I watch Live from London. It appears that the band is having so much fun being together again. There's something to be said for their reunion--as if everything was as it should be once again.

Yes it was a blast from the past,Andy running from one end to another, just like before, and the guys seem very happy with the result, and each other. Sad ending, but i hope to see them soon, even without Andy :-/I read the article from John and the overall feeling i got was dissapointment, not something else,I trie to put myself in their position at some way,and i think they hoped it would work out. Andy is un replaceble is energy is upsweaping<but i think it is hard to combine for him,his devotion towards his home is no 1 i quess, and when 4 are on one line, and the 5th isn't its hard to work things out, that's my overal feeling. And i was glad Nick said:dont's say never maybe in about 5 years again, let us all hope For all of you experieced it for real,i think it is something to cherish, and i'm a bit jalours
