that is horrible! i hope they throw the book at them!! Being that it's in Russia, I doubt anything will happen to the "people" who did this. |

@conchita - I know what you mean about wanting to take them all in. I would love to have a house with 50 bedrooms and lots of land just so I could take in all these poor kids and the poor puppies at the pound.
I hope these kids can overcome this - kids are pretty resilient but there are limits.

They showed that on the news last night.. Showing videos of pacifiers taped into their mouths.. disgusting.. Unfortunately, that has been practiced here in the United States, as recently as 1977. The military hospital where my sister was born did it.........until my mother raised holy hell about it, at least on her child. And my husband knows that one of these days, after my kids are grown, I may do a couple of overseas trips in my nursing career....international health organizations are always looking for volunteers to do this, and I want to, badly, for a summer. What he's afraid of is that I'll bring back a dozen or more.......and if I could, Lord knows I would........ |

I feel so bad for the babies. What a horrible thing to do.
Sadly, I don't think the worker having the proper training would have made a difference.

Considering how many people want and can't have babies that is the biggest f___ing disgrace ever. I am sick to my stomach and these people deserve to be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent. I agree 1,000%!!! I can't even come up with words to describe how horrified I am hearing that!! You can't trust anyone anymore with your child (unless, of course, family). It makes me want to just stay home with my daughter until she starts school. |

Thats the saddest thing I have heard.
These poopr babies dont even have a mommy to love, cuddle and just be there for them, and then some : who apparently uses the excuse she didnt have enough training tapes and gags their mouth shut.
Remember years ago when there was a 20/20 report of Russian children in oprhanages and so many Americans went over there and adopted a lot of them? I bet this will spark a huge interest agin.
