Why single out John in practically every thread of his you post in? "Oooh, John looks stoned!", "Oooh, John's soooooo wasted there!"

So what? He wasn't the only one to use drugs or drink himself stupid back then, they were all at it. Some of them still are, if reports of Simon on the mini tour are anything to go by.

But noooooooo, with you it's always John, John, John.

Maybe it's because his addictions were more high profile, but for the love of Pete, stop bringing them up at the slightest opportunity. It's getting old.

i have to agree with you.
bringing up Jt's addiction to drugs and alchool at every given opportunity it's sort of distastefull,considering that THEY ALL did
drugs and abused alchool...maybe they still do to these days,who knows?
So spare John those reminders of his well documented addiction and think about how maybe the rest of the band got away with stuff more because John raised his hands first and pleaded "guilty"...
Anyway...enough controversy already,such a gorgeous picture thread doen't need to be spoiled by negativity.
Sorry i came out a bit heavy on the subject but i get frustrated when i read (continously) comments about John's junkie past.

thanks for the great posts. i have a question...do you have any more photos of any old, official merch. like t-shirts, posters, stuff from concerts. i am really wanting to get a better look at the t-shirt in this picture...



i've seen JT wear this in a few pics and i would love to see a pic of the whole thing.

i'm quite sure the girl with simon is the same girl in this pic



these 2 pics were taken in 2 different occasions, London and Paris (backstage at Captain Video Club) so i guess she was simon's girl at the time.
i doubt she could be Fiona Kemp (the girl who introduced simon to the rest of the band at the rum runner) as these pics were taken in 1981 and he was seeing Fiona for a short time in 1980.
