Well, we were supposed to have clear skies and of couse we've got some kind of snow/rain/ice thing going on. I figured now is the time to do that homemade baking thing.
In the oven I have a homemade Pumpkin Spice sheet cake and it will be SMOTHERED in cream cheese icing. I can't believe I'm baking.
Anyone want some?

That sounds yummy, Daisybell.....we had ice yesterday and I baked Cherries Jubilee Cheesecake bars. Mix cherry chip cake mix with a half stick of butter till crumbly, reserve one cup, and press the rest into the bottom of a 13x9 cake pan.
Mix cherry icing (Duncan Hines....okay, so it wasn't HOME baked, cut me some slack) with 2 eight ounce blocks of softened cream cheese and two eggs, pour over crust.
Sprinkle reserved crumbles on top, and bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes...........yum...........
So, you've got the Pumpkin Spice Cake, I've got the cherry bars, somebody pour the milk and we'll be in business........
