Pretty much the same ones my sister mentioned, I also remember the Bugaloos and Penelope Pittstop, and the Curiosity Shop (that might have been weekdays tho, I can't remember!)
But Looney Tunes is right up there at the top, I feel sorry for the kids of today who will grow up without knowing all the words to the Hillbilly Square Dance! And the story of why Steve Brody jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge (of course you can get the DVDS but it ain't the same...)

Since we lived in the country and only had three channels...any cartoon was good!
I especially liked Bugs Bunny and the Smurfs!

I loved Hong Kong Phooey, but it didn't last long. Now when I see it on Boomerang I watch it and think "Hey, that wasn't funny at all!". Oh well.
And as as older "kid" I loved watching The Tick. Just bought the DVD for my hubby for Valentine's Day.

Mine was "Don Gato y su Pandilla" -name given in Mexico- I guess its called Top Cat, or something like that, it was Cucho, Espanto, Benito Bodoque, Panza... etcetera. And I guess all Hanna-Barbera's productions. *sings* Top CAT! The indisputable leader of the gaaaang... He;s the boss, he's the (something), he's the championship..he's the most tip-top, Top Cat! And my weekend just wasn't right without the Smurfs. I always thought if I could just snuggle right up with Azriel (Gargamel's cat), he'd be a nice sweet kitty that didn't eat Smurfs.

hmmm - looks like Saturday morning TV as we know it is a purely British/Irish phenomenon... I was mostly a BBC girl - Swap Shop, Superstore, Going Live. Though I would miss it quite often cos I had skating lessons on Sat mornings. only as an adult did I convert to ITV. I loved CD:UK - the Ant & Dec & Cat years

I only started watching Saturday Superstore when Tiswas finished. And only if I knew Duran were going to be on it. Therefore I was witness to Andy telling some fat kid to "f___ off, fatso!", and Simon's complaint of seeing the cook's arse at 4am. Oh, and of John being very hungover and not really wanting to be on TV right at that moment.

@kari205 . . . my 4 year old has been watching Top Cat on Boomerang and she loves it! Her other faves are the original Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry. I guess I have a retro child.
