need advice

I am not sure if I handled something right and need advice. I met a married couple through a friend. I was chatting with the wife tonight online and she made a pass at me. I wasn't sure how to respond, so I just tried to change the subject. When she told me that was not the response she was hoping for, I just explained that I was not into women and that I didn't want to offend her. I have many friends that are gay but none that hit on me. When I asked her about her being married, she said her husband was OK with it. Maybe I am a prude, but I didn't know how to answer her. I mean if that's what floats her boat, whatever. It's not what I'm into. So how do I handle this? Any suggestions?

I think you handled it perfectly.

If you are concerned about her continuing to make passes at you, you can always get more firm with her and tell her that if she respects your friendship, she needs to back off.

Otherwise, I would consider the issue over with.
