I barely notice the ads. It's the banners that bother me. I mean the footers -- especially the animated ones.

Well, what a relief: I just discovered that banners/footers (and even avatars) can be disabled. When I first saw that setting I assumed it was about whether or not to display your own banner to others.

I never really noticed them but now that they are gone, I see that nothing is flashing at me.

The only ads I see are in a box at the top of the page which is easily ignored. Thankfully there's no pop ups that aren't being blocked. That's all I was seeing as well. Is that it, or was there something more? Maybe Firefox was blocking a bunch of crap for me too! |

I don't see any ads but wouldn't mind it if I did. I noticed that the site has over 150,000 hits so far, so if any money can be made by having a few advertisements, more power to ya!
