I am now coming out of my sleep deprived fog (well almost) and I just wanted to post this here (as I did on the old board). I am so so happy and still cannot believe we beat Ohio State. Yippee!!
Go Gators!

@saki are you a gator grad?
my husband and I are both gators he 90 me 92.
I just listed some of our gator gear on ebay. My mother regularly sends me a gator wardrobe but i can't seem to convince her that we only root for the team not play for them. Everything is XL! I hope it all sells!
Go GAtors! jen

poor OSU, they got spanked!
I admit I wanted them to lose, but not that bad. I always root for the underdogs and no one was showing UF any respect, so good for them.
I just wish they would do a plus one game now ... ;D

Jen68 - Yes I am a Florida grad. I also graduated in 92. I was a business admin major, degree in finance. Were you in a sorority? I was a Chi Omega.
My husband and I met at Florida, but, and yes its amazing that we are still married, he ended up graduating from Florida State. But he is not a sports guy, which is fine by me. He always likes to say that he doesn't care about football, but Florida State is the better team. Well, he hasn't been saying that for the last 2 years. We actually went to the UF/FSU game in 2005 and it was so great!
That is too funny about the Gator gear. I have some stuff, but pretty practical things and they fit. Mostly sweatshirts, t-shirts and baseball caps. I have so little though that I had to buy something to wear to the game! Well worth the investment though.

Well, I did not go to Florida, but spent some of my childhood there. I was raised a die-hard South Carolina fan (and LOVE that Spurrier is there now), however we became Gator fans while living there. We pull for the Gators unless they play the Gamecocks and this year I'm glad they even beat them, since they went on to win the championship. We are huge college football fans and love SEC football. I spent over $100 on Gatorzone.com yesterday purchasing championship gear for me and my 11 year old (who lives and breathes Florida Gator sports.....it's scary really). Here he is last year on the 50 yd line at the Swamp. We loved the game Monday night! 41-14...Go Gators!
