That, along with the demo version of GOF in particular, were definitely on heavy repeat for me as I soaked in disc 2 of the 1st album remaster over the last couple months, until I got blindsided by Amanda Palmer as recounted in my previous post! Might just have to go back and hit them up again.

The new Sia CD, We Are Born. I am so in love with Sia. This album is a little more upbeat than her last. Only DD has had me so excited for a new CD in the past.
Love her!

I recently made a set of CDs to commemorate my old "Music of Duran Duran" Maxell tapes that I started making in 1984 after I had accumulated about 5 or 6 of their 7" and 12" singles. I had yet to buy any of their albums yet - that didn't start until Vol. II! Then, once I got an album (Rio was first), since I already had some of the songs on cassette Vol. I, I would not repeat them when I recorded the album on the next volume, so I got used to hearing the songs follow each other out of sequence (I used to play the hell out of those tapes to save my vinyl from wearing out)! I got nostalgic, so it was fun to make these CDs! Right now I've got Volume I in the car:
Hungry Like the Wolf (Night Version) (I originally got it from the US HLTW 7" re-release) Hungry Like the Wolf (US Single Remix) Rio (US Single Remix - Kershenbaum Edit) (3:57 length, from the US 7" re-release - had to scour the internets to find this in MP3) Hold Back the Rain (Kershenbaum Album Remix) (Rio B-side) Is There Something... Is There Something...(Monster Mix) Union of the Snake New Moon On Monday New Moon On Monday (Dance Mix) The Reflex Tiger Tiger Tiger Tiger (Remix) Secret Oktober Rio (Part 1) Rio (Part 2) My Own Way (Kershenbaum Remix)
If you're wondering where Faith in This Colour is, I really didn't like it at first...it wasn't until Vol. II that it made it's way into the series!
