I vaguely recall this shirt from the 1984 USA tour. My friend bought the sleeveless shirt, and I recall it being embroidered and much cooler than my standard "band" 3/4 sleeve shirt. In my teen years, I didn't have the arms for sleeveless :-( For myself, it'd then be interesting if anyone has any info on the sleeveless shirt - as it's a little weird that i've never seen one before, & so i'm a little dubious that it was either tour merch or a generally sold item... Unless, perhaps, it was from Japan, as they certainly have had some unique items over the years that rarely show up outside of the country(?).

So it may well be then that there were simply fewer of the sleeveless shirts sold originally - as the others i know of from the era (of the top of my head i know there's a tiger eye sleeveless shirt from the US & a blue D vest top from Australia from the tour) very rarely come up.
indeed, i think the only copy of that Australian vest shirt i've ever seen come up is the one i bought some years ago - whereas there's been a few of the other US one.

Yeah, there's been some really cool stuff of late for my kind of collecting - just wish that it was spread out a bit so wasn't such a financial drain.

First with a slight average one, & then with a sealed copy. Yeah, whilst i can understand the rationale with some stuff - as putting posters & cutting magazines up & turning the Greek bag into a cushion & whatnot was par for the course - it was the one thing that i instantly regretted as soon as i'd done it... ...esp as it really wasn't a cheap item.

Agree! We did a lot of stupid thing when we where younger! I sold my dd collection back in the 90's so I could start buying cdr bootlegs , and then I had to start collect them all again

Having stooged around for B-hours keeping an eye on a couple of (non-eBay) auctions in case anyone outbid me, it's finally finished...
Yeah, it was a Rock/Pop memorabilia auction in Texas (same place i'd bought that AT interview tape from) where, slightly weirdly, whilst there was a nominal ending at 2pm NYC time, everything stayed live until nothing had been bid on for 10 minutes. Annoyingly, they've pulled all of the pages & photos as it ended, but along with a set of 10 magazines (a mix of Japanese, US & italian ones) with Duran content...
...this 10x8 was the one thing that i was *really* after (hence why i had an image saved separately) -

- though there was also a partially signed Arena era Capitol promo photo in the lot with it which was quite nice - just not cool enough to keep a picture of.

So this is now on the way - Attachment Deleted
- though it's the 3rd version for the collection, as i already have the ones for Ottawa & (i'm 99% certain) Toronto - so, whilst it's a cool design, not very exciting.
That said, they don't come up often - & it looks to have been a little over 3 years ago that i found the 2nd one - so it's either get it or miss out.
