It says it official but it doesn't look it. It also doesn't look as good as the normal one which you can buy either!

These are the US advanced editions. I have the ones fro Duran Duran, Seven and the Ragged Tiger and So Red the Rose. They are exactly like the released versions minus the artwork, postcards, and poster.

I've had the Notorious remaster in the car for the last week, and I was impressed with the sound. It didn't come across overly pushed, and I didn't feel pulverized after 30-mins. I did wonder whether it was about the production/mix style - the album comes across as quite sparse, in terms of the layers of sound; plenty of pockets - meaning there wasn't too much going on. But having listened to it a few more times I reckon it's been mixed at a lower level than the previous remasters so far. One obvious sign being that I had to turn up the volume, rather than fiddling with the bass/treble to get things feeling good.
