When it comes to the new album (or hell, any album they do), I don't even really care if I like it.
I'm not saying I don't want them to be successful, but for me, it's not about them making the greatest album of all time.
I haven't listened to ANY of the new songs, no snippets, no leaked songs, nothing. I refuse to. And I won't be going to iTunes. I want to have the whole album and listen to all the tracks at one time -- start to finish. I want the whole experience. I want to hear the final, finished product as a complete package, not bit by bit.
Whether I like it or not (when I hear it in Feb) doesn't really matter to me. After nearly 30 years of Duraniedom, I just like to see where they go, the direction they take. I always find their work interesting, even if a particular song or album doesn't grab me.
Is there anybody else here who just enjoys the ride?

There are people who will wait until February for a physical copy and of course have the extra songs. This way they only have to buy the album once.

I've never used iTunes before and don't even know if it's available in my country (I live in an island in the caribbean). So it's more than likely I'll have to wait til the physical cd comes out, although I'm sure I'll hear it before then. In some ways, I am along for the ride with each album. Sometimes I never liked the first single (like Violence of Summer, Sunrise, Falling Down etc) but still bought the album, even if I rarely played it after. My BEST DD album ever would be my own compilation cd of handpicked tracks throughout their 30 yr catalogue. But it's always a rush to add another one to the shelf...
