I'm a professional musician and have been since 1985, and this is my 10 cents worth of opinion. This is a great song. Some around here say the verse doesn't fit the chorus. In my opinion that is not the case. They go very well together. The verse is a more traditional and classic rock buildup. Though it doesn't carry too many tones, but a very cool, cold and almost scary synth sound. Almost like the one in "Playing with uranium". I think it is a perfect way to build up to the chorus line, which by any standard is the most important signature of any popsong. "All you need is now" does not disappoint. Come dec 14th, remember to buy this song.

Yeah it's a good song but I honestly do prefer the hook. It's no longer my favourite after hearing "Mediterranea" though, which is already one of my favourite Duran songs of all time (probably too good to be a single though). Not only does it sound like a track from Rio or the third album, but it's in the same league both musically and lyrically. Sorry if it sounds like I'm banging on about it too much, but it's really took me by surprise and has washed away even the slightest doubt that I may have had about the new album.

i love it and wasn't expecting to - i actually liked it on the 1st play (before it was removed) ! Heard all these references about the verse and chorus not flowing but i really don't agree - the best thing DD have done for a long time
Mediterranea is beautiful too
