To be honest...I do think it's a bootleg. But that doesn't matter, it's a nice item!

Looking @ the details of the pictures, I can say it has ALL the info about production and photography credits and all that in the fine print and it has very clearly printed Capitol Records logos on both the insert and on the CD, as well as copyright info. It really doesn't look like any kind of boot. I didn't think they made them that good and used the logos and everything back then. I know NOW it is so easy to duplicate things, but I am surprised to hear you think it is not official. I have no idea where I got this one, though. I have had it put away for a long time. You would be amazed at the work the bootlegger does to make items look 100% genuine and legit - down to the last detail. The thing is, Capitol / EMI never ever issued any promotional 3" CD singles for Duran Duran (this excludes any Japanese 3" CD singles where they sticker/print them as such). This is why it's up to us collectors to smell out and spot fakes. I'm holding out for a nice comprehensive discography that will not only contain pictures, but a section on bootlegs/fakes with pictures as well.

Well, thanx then for the info. I still like it. It is one of the cooler items, I think.
