Wow, that looks great. This is probably the best ever live concert video by the band Not quite for me. It looks fantastic, but it will never equal As the Lights Go Down or Live From London.

Watched the DVD of ADITM last night (arrived yesterday from Amazon). It is absolutely stunning, visually and sound-wise. Highlight for me was Leopard, with everyone clapping at the start and the vocal performance was out of this world. Simon is one brave guy to have battled back from his troubles earlier in the year to perform like that. I haven't watched the documentary part yet.
It is just "different" from As the Lights Go Down. I'm not saying it is better or worse, they are just different gigs at different times in the band's development. 1984 - young, stage excitement based on the screaming of fans and the energy on stage. 2011- a matured band, fans grown up, still loving it and joining in, but the stagecraft, experience and musical maturity shines. Live from London - still a great reminder of gigs at the Reunion time, but not a patch on now. All You Need is Now!

Uh, you are so lucky. I just can't afford to get it right now and I want to see it so badly. LOL I do plan on getting it soon though. I just loved their show this time around. (And yeah Simon really sounds fantastic, truly, because even when you watch the youtube stuff, which has no "clean up" and is just how he sounded on any given night, he sounds fantastic) Actually I'd love to see As the Lights Go Down. I haven't seen it since I watched it with my friend at her house(her parents had the subsciption to that channel, we didn't:)) when it was first on. There are I think a few clips on youtube I think but it's not the quite same as sitting there watching the whole thing.
