Hi guys, I was playing around with a multitrack editor the other day and happened to find some original studio DD multitracks on the internet. I wondered what these would sound like semi-merged into one track but without the vocals. Here are the results. You can read a little about each one in the youtube descriptions. Hope this is ok to post these here, youtube has already blocked some of them for copyright, so I dont know if they play in your country. Original Source:www.youtube.com/user/xXFireBladeXx6/videosHere goes, seven stripped recordings taken from the original studio DD multitracks, listed in order of my personal favourites: I'd love to get my hands on the multitracks of Too Much Information some day and then I can really ramp up Warrens guitar!!. That track never quite seemed to hit the rock nail on the head for me, no matter how loudly I turn up the volume. That would be a dream to work on. If you could split the tracks or enhance the studio versions in any way (bring intruments foward in the mix etc) what would you do with which songs? If you could make any song an instrumental, which intrumentals would you make?? For me it would be perhaps: We Need You, Too Late Marlene, and Falling Angel. Dan.

i think the only authentic multitrack stripes that are out there are:
girls on film, rio and hungry like the wolf (they are from the ROCK BAND game)
those were originally in .MOGG file format and had about 12 parts each. all the drums were separated stems. i've seen them reposted where there drum tracks were all combined into one part, rather than the kick, snare, etc being individual.
all you need is now nite runner
they were released by the band
all the other ones floating around are based on cover versions, which i think were done to be used for karaoke versions of the songs.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I guess it's funny that some of this content is blocked overseas because of copyright, when some are just covers. If that's all true then they were pretty good covers - I was certainly fooled.

Does anyone know where I might possibly get the stems for Nite Runner and AYNIN? I had the Nite Runner ones and made a remix, but I can't find any of the work I did in Garageband, OR the stems. Thank you so much for your help, in advance!

Anyone able to point me in the direction of the separate drum stems for Rio/HLTW/GOF please?
